Research-Practice Connections

 

We facilitate development of partnerships between educational institutions that are practice-oriented (e.g., community colleges, teacher preparation programs, preK-12 school systems) and research communities (e.g., university research faculty, doctoral students in education, technical assistance centers).  The intent of our research-practice work is to promote and facilitate two-way dialog that (1) moves high quality research findings into practical applications that benefit education stakeholders such as learners, teachers, administrators, and families, and (2) fosters greater focus in educational research on current, pressing problems and priorities in educational practice.
